Hi, this is Outlook podcast. How are we seeing? Our situations daily. Are we seeing the upside? The downside? We just don't care at all. Like, where are we? Where are we when we look at things?
00:31
And you go out to eat. Really good Buffet. The line is long. Are you like shit damn motherfucker? Don't want to stand in this line? Are you like, shit? There's a long line. Let's go somewhere, the fuck else. Or, like, you know what? This food is really, really good. Let me, uh. Let me handle this. Okay, I'm back. Or. Are you just like? Hey!

Speaker 1 01:11
Food is good. I'm gonna stay. It's worth it.
01:18
But then you've got people grumbling. Yeah, we can go somewhere else. This is BS.
01:28
They're really pressuring we should go somewhere else, are you like, yeah, y'all can go somewhere else, or well, that's nice. Go ahead, I'll stay. Where are you? You know? Are you just happy you had the funds to do it at all? Are you worried about your bills cause? Your friends are pressuring you to go to this place. It's really too expensive, and you know you're going to be short on your electric bill if you do this, but you just gotta go. You know, where are you? Are you letting your yeses be yes and your nose be no? Because that reluctance. And that resistance should be teaching us something. If we're resistant to a yes or a no. If we're reluctant to a yes or a no, what is that telling us about this decision? Do we need more proof to feel more comfortable to make this decision? We don't feel safe.
02:43
Are you just like I got a hair in my throat? This doesn't feel right. I don't want to make this Choice right here, but you don't want to hurt people's feelings. Where are you in your capacity to look and evaluate, you know, and analyze a situation and make a decision?
03:10
Are you afraid to say no? Are you afraid to say yes? You know you, you'll look bad in front of someone. Do you care what others think? Why do you care? Is there something you're gonna lose from them? Is this something you're hoping to gain that you're gonna lose? How you look to them is, are they some benefit to you? Are not all of these reluctances telling you that there's something within you. There's an unsurety there.
04:04
That confidence in self that growth. On the inside that lets us know. That we're doing the right thing. When we have confidence in self and we're givers, we see the we and not just me. That's a line in the Sand that you'll be able to make a definitive, accurate decision that you can stand on. And if anything goes against that decision, you know, that is a fear of some sort of something you're going to lose. It's something you can't do for you and what I'm trying to show you. Is that every time the self? Outweighs. The. When the? Is stronger than the we were going to have reluctance. We're going to have resistance. When the me is stronger than the we? We're going to have reluctance. We're going to have resistance.
05:30
So, when we say no? Automatically. What is it that we are going to lose ourselves?
05:41
Take, for example. A baby's crying profusely. Let's say it's not your baby. When babies crying it gets on just about anybody's nerves, you're like, what in the complete fuck? Somebody get that baby? It's getting on your nerves. Now, let's say. You don't have kids. You're single, you're young. You're beautiful. You want to go places and have a good time. You don't want any problems. Okay. Okay, okay, and then. You have a friend that asks you let's. Let's go to this. What do they call those, um? Baby shower parties. Go to a baby shower, and you know, you even ask questions people bringing their kids. You know, it's gonna be a bunch of crying babies there. Now, do you want to go? Remember, it's, we not me, right? We're givers. We're lovers. We're compassionate. We're empathetic. But is that a line in the Sand where you're just like, I don't want to hear a room full of babies crying and then pretend to have a good time. Are you being a bad friend to not go accompany your friend to this baby shower, which is a beautiful thing? But you've been working double shifts. You've been looking forward to this weekend? Where you could just add some time to yourself to rest and restore. To recover from all the stresses of that work week, the anxiety, the Panic, the resistance. And just when you get a chance to get that? Here we go. Your friend now! Are you being selfish? By saying, no, this is time that I do need for self for me to rest and restore, so that if I do need to go to an occasion, such as this.
08:05
I'll be able to do so without snap crackling, popping on everyone else's good time because I really didn't want to be here, and I really should not be here. Should you guilt, Trip yourself, or? Allow your friend to guilt Trip you. Because you didn't want to go, you need to take time for self. What's the right answer?
08:36
Well. In understanding the functions of. Magnetics, we understand, we're attracting. We're resisting, we're banishing, or we're resting and restoring. These are the five functional states that human beings go through all day, every time you want something to happen, or you want something to not happen. To be or not to be? If you're not in that state of mind, you're at rest in restoration.
09:20
You're allowed to say no. You're allowed to rest and restore. We are not robots that just have to keep giving and giving until death, no matter what. You need sleep to function. You need rest. Sometimes, you know? Automatically. This is not something I want to go deal with. Or that you need to deal with and sometimes we need to know. We need to push past that rest and restoration because this is an emergency. My friend needs me. I need to dig a little deeper and push through on this. And we'll. When those emergencies occur. If your friend is getting robbed in the parking lot in front of you and you're sitting in the car? Ah well, I'm resting and restoring. Can't help you sorry? You know what I mean, unless you just got out of the hospital and your arm and leg is in a cast? Well, that's different, but each situation is unique, and the Beautiful part about it is that these functions move. They're not stiff, they're not rigid. We're attracting, banishing, resisting, resting and restoring beings, and the beautiful thing about being a human being is not only can we rest and restore ourselves. Our energy is such that we can pass on. That rest and restoration. To someone else. Our voice, our hands, our body. Are resources? Our silence. Our speech, our actions, our inactions can all be a level of rest and restoration for ones we know and ones that we don't know. You giving a homeless person. A meal can be an act of giving resting restoration to someone else. You rubbing your spouse's shoulders or feet after A Hard Day's Work and giving them a nice. You know, glass of ice water on a hot day can be rest and restoration to someone else. Magnetics is an affixation of functionalities. It's like a wave floating up and down that we float in and out of functionalities all day, every day. And we get to choose. We get to choose.
12:12
You're at your job. Sometimes you get thrown into a function. Sometimes, people want you to rest and restore, and you really want to. Just, I got something to do. You know? That's life. Sometimes. There's stuff. Other people wanted to do, and you just need to rest and restore. The reason why I like these functionalities? These five basic human functions is, we can ask ourselves questions of where are we in this situation?
12:48
Where are somewhere is someone else? Or what is this situation that we find ourselves in? We can ask this questions. And. Get a direction. Think of magnetics as a road map of just being able to assess where we are. And know where we want to be. Right now, we're at work. You know?
13:23
We're attracting, we're banishing. We're resisting all day. We're in that frequency. So, we're very alert. And we're so alert, it's getting on our nerves and afterwards. After work, we want to switch. Frequencies. We want to change the functionalities, and when we know these frequencies and functionalities. Wow!
13:54
Wow!
13:58
What a gift we can give to ourselves and knowing where we are and where we want to be. To be able to analyze that, assess that and then transform. Into another function into another frequency. Deliberately on purpose. Hold on because? The next podcast is going to be about frequency.
